405 New American Representatives — New Americans achieved a 65.05% win rate in the general election and now represent 5.48% of all state legislators.

New Americans of Middle Eastern/North African (73.91%) and Black (71.64%) heritage achieved the highest win rates!

New American legislators currently serve in 43 states.

New American Women had higher win rates (70.92%) than men (59.23%).

New American candidates identifying as LGBTQ+ achieved an impressive 80.95% win rate.

California, New York, Florida, Illinois, and Texas are the top five states with the most New American candidates.

In 2022, 296 New American legislators were serving across the country. By 2024, this number had climbed to 361—a significant 21.96% increase.
