Power & Policy
Shake up politics as usual and flex our strength as New Americans in office!
Power and Policy is an exclusive event that brings together elected officials, policy makers, thought leaders, NAL alumni, activists, and other key players to discuss how we can continue leading our movement to create a democracy that represents and works for all people while also driving corresponding policy changes.
Curious to see what happens at Power and Policy? Catch up on past discussions by watching our 2021 opening plenary and 2020 closing remarks by Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib!
In 2023, we hosted our 10th annual Power & Policy Summit in Washington, D.C. Our sessions included workshops on organizing and engaging Gen Z, combatting the erasure of BIPOC history and identities in public schools, combining the efforts to fight housing insecurity and environmental racism, and others.
A special thank you to our 2023 sponsors for making these powerful conversations possible!
