Join us at Power and Policy to shake up politics as usual and flex our strength as New Americans in office!

At Power and Policy, we focus on the leaders who are breaking barriers. The advocates challenging outdated ways of thinking. The organizers getting into good trouble and dismantling systemic challenges oppressing communities of color and immigrant communities.

As we come together in person for the first time since 2019, we know that the world looks very different than when we were last in community with one another. We have faced a global pandemic, a reckoning on race and social justice, and unprecedented attacks on our rights. That is why it is more important than ever that we come together to find solutions that empower us to break through the barriers preventing us from creating a more just country that works for and represents us all.

Please join elected officials, appointees, campaign staff, NAL alumni, partners, and allies at our 10th Power and Policy summit to address the critical issues facing New American and BIPOC communities, showcase successful legislation, and build solidarity for our work to lead a movement for a healthy, representative democracy!

This year’s summit will be held in Washington, DC on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, from 9:00am to 4:15pm EST. Panels and breakout discussions will be held in person, with some keynote sessions live-streamed to New American Leaders’ Facebook Live.

To learn more about our annual summit please connect with Hira Khan, NAL’s Governance Director. Please note that all sponsors must be confirmed by November 14th to be included in event materials.
